I am giving some serious thought to do FTO MBLD.
Context:
It is quite easy to do 3x3 MBLD by arranging the cubes in a square or rectangular packs. I prefer 10 packs shaped as 5x2 with easy access to each cube and no worries about losing orientation or losing track of cube X. On the other hand, FTOs cannot be kept side by side without they knocking off each other as the point of contact will be a corner rather than a face when it is placed on a table. Also a 5x2 arrangement will be even more messier.
I propose a 2x2 arrangement with a bigger diamond being formed out of the four FTOs to be a single pack. This will be convenient to review and access the FTOs when we are blindfolded.
FTR, FTO has around <4BLD's worth of information (~<2 cubes), so it easy to do multi with it, and it is a novel activity that may gain traction and popularity in the future.
