I am giving some serious thought to do FTO MBLD.

Context:
It is quite easy to do 3x3 MBLD by arranging the cubes in a square or rectangular packs. I prefer 10 packs shaped as 5x2 with easy access to each cube and no worries about losing orientation or losing track of cube X. On the other hand, FTOs cannot be kept side by side without they knocking off each other as the point of contact will be a corner rather than a face when it is placed on a table. Also a 5x2 arrangement will be even more messier.

I propose a 2x2 arrangement with a bigger diamond being formed out of the four FTOs to be a single pack. This will be convenient to review and access the FTOs when we are blindfolded.

FTR, FTO has around <4BLD's worth of information (~<2 cubes), so it easy to do multi with it, and it is a novel activity that may gain traction and popularity in the future.

On a related topic, I wonder if FTO FMC is worth considering.
What is the current upper bound on the God's number for FTO puzzle?

I know the lower bound is hard to compute and algos need to made to calculate them.

I think FTO FMC is as relevant as 4x4 FMC. I think both of them should be done, maybe introduce them in SS weekly comps. 4x4 FMC used to exist on SS a decade back @Mike Hughey can confirm!
