Please sign this petition if you want to protest the decision by the WCA Board to overrule the WCA Regulations Committee's unanimous decision to penalize the 0.78 2x2 average. This move means that the illegal 0.78 sliding result will stand, but anybody else who slides in the future will be penalized. It is absurd to allow sliding for a World Record but then tell people they cannot slide to try and beat it.

What are you yapping about, @Legomanz is asking us to sign the petition, so we can change the WCA’s decision by getting them to DNF the 0.78, because it was done by sliding, and the WCA let that result stay, which is unfair to all of us.

To put it bluntly why do you expect the WCA to care a toss about this petition. You get things done in this world by having power, not by just complaining about something you don't like.

Because the delegates that run their competitions don’t like the ruling either lol, and the delegates are on our side

bc the delegates disagree with the ruling, the WRC disagree with the ruling, the top solvers with influence in the community disagree with the ruling, and the WCA is a volunteer small community not a country
 
The WCA has had it's fair share of bad decisions and rules but this one is the most brain dead. Genuinely curious how they reasoned this out with actual discussion...

I don't go to many comps but if the people in charge are running the WCA like this I certainly do not want to participate in their events.
