good avg

EDIT: now I noticed the two 13.87 lol. That's so cool

good oh avg with sub30 single!!

the solve was ridiculous, I can't reconstruct it but it was very lucky, cross was easy, I think 2 or 3 pairs formed by themself and I got a pll skip

D2 F' R D2 F' R2 B' D2 R2 D F' L2 B' U2 D2 B R2 U2 F

ok so I thought of a system for coll that I decided to learn and use on my solves, it is like this:

I know all of coll except for S/AS/L

but some coll are really bad, and sometimes is better to just do the fastest ocll and solve pll.

but I want to learn roll so I thought of a mixed system...

I will know at least 2 algs for each cll case: pure and adjacent

so if I get pure I do pure, obviously. if I get diagonal I will do adjacent, if I get adjacent but my adjacent alg makes diagonal I will do pure, if I get the adjacent I do adjacent to solve and I do pure for the others to get adjacent

for exemple for sune I will only need sune and niklas so I will always end with headlights on left (using the correct auf at the end of coll. ) or solved corners

then I can use 2 sided recognition or even 3 sided if it's easier to recognize but it will be better than what I'm currently using and I won't have bad coll algs

I decided to solve 7x7 on the way back from a car trip and managed to solve it for the first time! (on sim)

I had to use my knowlege of commutators and adapted the 4x4 oll parity alg that I knew, and ended up with a 3 cycles of wing, which ended in a solved cube!

So nice to be able to takle a cube like this without needing to search on the internet

also I forgot to post this the other day...

I improved my 5x5 record by over 17min.

it was the second time I solved the 5x5. knowing basic commutators and a little of 4x4 columns strategy helped a lot. (I used that to solve centers)

I have a pretty snappy Jperm (<1.00) and Vperm (<1.50) but that's 2H...
havent *yet* gotten any real decent grip on doing the OH haha

Maybe if you post another good video on your fintergricks I can pick up on it☑️
1.5 vperm????

That's pretty good.

Last layer is the worst part of my solve. I can solve f2l in 6 to 10+ seconds but my ll can take more than 7 seconds sometimes.😑
If my last layer was 3 seconds I was sub10

I learned the f / f' variant from a video Antonie Paterakis made a year or two ago
Since I use Roux, i mostly count on Jperm for adjacent swap and Yperm for diagonal, but that Vperm is faster so....
if you search his name + V perm it should be in the top results☑️

For me 1st & 2nd Blocks are the worst, oretty good at LL (from mad drillin times ha) but my LSE could use wûrk

Yeah, i tried that vperm but my tps it's really bad.
My strong point is f2l.
I know loads of algs of different subsets for last layer but my recog and execution is complete rubish

I often do meditation/prayer while casually solving and so solving sorta became a kind of meditation for me...
Downside: a lot of times I'm solving at a "walking" pace *argh!* and this leads to longer first 2 blocks and slower solves
Upside: I have become (mostly) more thoughtful in my inspection and especially during solves and when I focus and make myself do Ao12 or Ao25 I often get down to some fast (for me) times and even some good(ish) solutions

Re: Jperm @ <1s
If you do the Jb perm and U' auf then repeat that it solves back, so I would often practice that without looking and just keep track of how many times I did it to see if I messed up when I stop...
One week the moon was waxing to full and weather was clear and I spent at least an hour each night just staring at the moon doing Jb oerm + U' over and over in the dark not looking
btw, I use Jperm's fintergricks for the Jb perm 💪👌😎
