Ok so me and @randomness... are trying to learn 3bld, and we will try to be the first to have a 3bld success

today I got speffz down and I'm just writing the memo on a text file and trying to solve with the algs I got on cuberoot (conjugated ja/jb/t/y)

I will need a lot of practice until I'm decent at it, but I'll give my best

also, I have no idea what to do when the piece ends in the buffer position and the cycle ends.

should I just proceed solving any other piece? if so, I'm having problems remembering what pieces are left to be solved after the cycle ended

Solve any unsolved piece that you haven't solved yet. If you don't know which ones need solved, go back through your memo and put you finger on the stickers/pieces that you've solved so far.

Yeah but you don't solve that piece then yet, you put the piece that belongs at the buffer at that position so you can solve it later when the new cycle ends.

Second day of practicing

Yesterday I learnt:

All of speffz by learning just the first letter of each side so I can figure out pieces by counting 4 pieces max for each layer

Today I learnt all the setups (intuitively) for corners and edges. I'm using y,t,ja,jb

Corners are the hardest part... But I can do it

Now all that is left is memo and the cycle break then I will be able to solve bld

Using Speffz (changed a bit.) for corners
Using my own scheme for Edges.
Still trying to know when edges are flipped and what the buffer piece is.

buffer piece is UL and ULB

when edges are flipped... they are flipped =P

speffz for corners is the same for edges, then if you know corners, just use the same for edges, there is no reason to not use it

SORRY
i lose this too easily

Yes! my first success is on the weekly!
i got that time
~45-50 for memo
~20 for execution!
---------------------------------------------
:P
i did NOT use the edge memorization i proposed, filipe was right, its harder than just memorizing one letter.
except i dont use just english for memo anymore

you see, I was right all this time. 🤣

you could do it and speffz is easier

congrats pal! you won but I'll still try to make my first success soon.

I just have to practice more seriously

but I'm happy that I somehow contributed to your success!

20sec for execution seem really fast for first try. I want to see a video of next success
