So how exactly do different cores affect cubes? as far as I can tell if a core keeps the screws from twisting when ur solving its good. I've tried switching cores in my cubes and they never feel different, and they all seem to be the same size.

So it always confuses me a little when ppl saying a putting a certain core in a cube will make it better, because I dont see how it can make a difference.

Nah, you could say that. He was at least. He isn't starting threads with all lowercases anymore , and I think he realized his slip-up after multiple fails in that video he posted here. He's gotten better in a short amount of time, that doesn't mean he is my favorite user here though.
