faster F2L

My F2L takes on average 18 secs...I usually solve the cross on the black side therefore I am NOT color neutral...I have also heard that the extended cross is good...so my question is....what should i do to improve my F2L? should i go color neutral? should i learn extended cross?? any ideas?

There's no real "secret" to F2L, it's about the following things:

1. Turns Per Second
2. Look-Ahead (Fluency)
3. Practice

well... i currently use intuitive F2L...here's my F2L breakdown...

cross=4 seconds usually
first F2L pair= 3 seconds
second F2L pair = 3 seconds
Third Pair = 3 seconds
Last pair varies and usually takes me 4 seconds...My OLL is 2 look and my PLL is full...any ideas? I've heard that going color neutral would be a good idea or maybe i should learn extended cross??

i say learn extended cross before thinking about color neutreul. because if you do its going to take a very long time before you can get it since its not automatic. but you cant do extended cross every single time, it just depends. i myself use it when i can and its really hard to explain

true...color neutral takes a ton of time to get good at..but is well worth it afterwards haha and yea...extended cross is very good but only in some cases...
