so i do the cross on my left hand side instead of the bottom. then do the same with f2l. i'm wondering if else does this, or is it just me?

also, there are f2l cases where i have to uncomfortably regrip. for example, scarmble: (yellow on right, orange on top)
U' R' U R2 U' R2 U R' F R F'

the best way i found for this case is to just do the scramble. but i don't like to do F turns and would rather not regrip. although i've been doing it for a while now and the regrip is not that uncomfortable anymore. just wondering if anyone's got a better way.

U' R U l' U R2 U' R2 U R' U'

Make use of wide L moves wherever possible. Also this is a bad case for f2l on D or L, so don't worry too much about it. You should only do this alg if it is you last slot, otherwise you can do something like this:

scramble: U R' U2 R' U R2 U' R2 U R' F R F'

solve first pair, free second pair:

R U' R U R' U R U'

second pair, now a much better case:

(R'+l') U R' U' R U R U'

Also cross on left ftw

there's a lot of people who do like you(me too). Just see one of Tomasz Zolnowski's videos:)

btw, you can do all four cases with one "l2" move or "x2" between doing the first two and last two pairs. You do first the top-front, then the top-back with R,U,F moves(I recommend you to do the top-back first, because you can use the top-front's slot for it). Than you do l2/x2, and do the same. With a lot of practicing it can be very fast:)
