Where can I learn "extended cross". And is it always worth to do the "extended cross"? Which means it is slower to do the "extended cross" then finishing the cross then do the first pair.
-If it's not: When is it not worth it?
-If it is: cool:eek:

Anywhere, you just need a cube. People can give some tips as always but mostly you need to learn intuitive things by yourself.

It can be faster and it can be slower than normal cross + ce-pair. It depends on the cuber of course.

if it's an easy x-cross, do it. if not, just play safe. thats what i do. chris hardwick's page talks a bit bout x-cross

When I said faster, I ment fewest move.
Optimal extended cross will never take more moves than cross and ce-pair, and it's almost always shorter. But finding (close to) optimal solutions 15 seconds isn't easy, it's just about the cuber's abilities.
