How do you pair up edges?

It looks sort of like you're using 6 edges at a time for 4x4, but adapted to 5x5.

Only he uses the M-slice instead of the E-slice I use. This gives him more finger-trick friendly moves.

phil (and Erik) are right. At this moment I would recommend everyone to learn/switch to using the M-slice.

yeah same here. I really want to switch to M on the 5 just cause it has a lot more advantages. Also, I think I might start doing 2 at a time rather than frank's way of a free working slice and making one whole tredge at a time for the first 8.

My look-ahead fails.

I need to switch to the M slice as well. My only problem is that I have no idea how to insert the edge into the M layer without rotating the cube. This is where, if I practice I can probably lower my edge times as well.
