ELL/PLL?

After a lot of hard work, I am nearing completion of learning all COLL cases to completely solve the corners and preserve the orientation of the edges. Which of the following would be faster for solving the last layer?

1. Orient edges (get a cross on top)
2. COLL
3. PLL for the edges only

OR

1. CLL (using COLL algs)
2. ELL

The PLLs for edges are pretty fast and easy to learn, and easier recognition, but the second part is only 2 algs.
I cannot say, because I don't know all of those, but it would seem that CLL then ELL would be faster.

CLL/ELL.
It's two algorithms rather than three.
Also, CLL is shorter than COLL (correct me if I'm wrong)
If you're not good with slices, then ELL might be hard, but if not, ELL/PLL is better.
