I go to school in Graz in Austria to a school named HTL BULME. There we have a plastic injection machine. that means, if i would make the forms, i could make an eastsheen 6x6 cube or something. Because the eastsheen 4x4 and 5x5 are basically the same, i would make a 6x6 with 5x5 tiles.
What do you think??

No, karthik. The whole point of an Eastsheen 6x6 is that you use an Eastsheen-style mechanism (which is a lot easier to design and make, by the way, since it's mostly just a sphere in a cube). Besides it is much more costly to mold all the pieces yourself one by one than to just wait a few months and buy a real V-cube.

If you believe the old posts on twistypuzzles, this has been done: a guy called Laurent Blanc made a single eastsheen 6x6 cube back in about 2003. I'd say it is quite doable, but you do have to realize it will probably take longer to design the mechanism, and get it to work without having the corners snap off or the pieces pop during a turn, than to actually mold it. That said, good luck! It's a great idea and if you made a few I'd consider buying one.

If you really do want to try, you may want to post your designs in progress on the twistypuzzles.com forum, because the members there will be able to help you make them work correctly. They tend to have experience in that kind of thing :)

do you have any experience with design and prototyping techniques??? if not then I don't see how you could ever do this...
