How to fix an Eastsheen 2x2x2 with one stiff layer?

Every layer on my East Sheen 2x2 is loose and turns very fast and smooth, except for one layer which is quite stiff and it's hard to even finger trick it.

I'm really sure none of the layers were stiff at first, but when the cube was breaking in quite good, that's when I noticed it.

Are most ES 2X2's like this or do I have a bad one?

Will it go away over time the more I use it? If not is there any way to fix it?

Thanks.

Sounds like it's time to get a Dayan, MoYu or WitTwo V1.

iirc ESs can't be adjusted but you will be thankful when you get a new 2x2 (if you haven't tried one yet). 2x2s have come a long way since the ES.

The best 2x2 I have is a Lanlan which is hundreds of times better than this ES. I wanted to get the ES just to see what it was like, I'm more of a general puzzle solver than a speedcuber, so if I can fix the ES I would like to do that.

I do own 2 ES 2x2 cubes and for non-speed solving they are good. But I also own a Lanlan, WitTwo V1, V-Cube 2 and a V-Cube 2b and they are way better for speed solving.

My main 2x2 is the WitTwo V1 followed by the Lanlan.
