5:15 for one of the Hamliton comps I woke up earlier than needed uninteasionlly. I think the lastest I've woken up isn't after 7am. I have been at the venue at 7am.

My last comp I travelled on a overnight bus (it had a bed) but I have no idea how much sleep I got, it felt like none during the night, but I didn't feel exhausted during the first day.

For the comp in Palmerston North last year I woke up at about 6 or 6:30 but daylight savings started that day so it was 5-5:30

About 5am for UK 2016 I think. I was looking at a 4am start for the World Championships this year but I still couldn't guarantee getting there for MBLD and 3x3 so decided I'll miss them and just do later events. Now I won't have to get up early at all.

I unintentionally wake up 4 am for every comp, probably because I'm so afraid I will oversleep.

The one comp I've been to I got up at 4:00, I think. I had to milk 40 cows then drive 2 hours to get there by 9:00. I doubt I'll ever go to a comp when I can sleep in past 5:00 and still get there.

Tricky question with multiple answers, depending on what counts as waking up for a comp.
  • Driving directly to a comp: 5:45 - For a comp in the next city (about an hour drive away). I had to arrive by 7:30 to help set up.
  • Going somewhere before a comp: 5:15 - The comp was 2 days. The second day was a Monday, but the first event started at 16:00. I woke up at 5:15 (my normal wake up time for a weekday), went to work until 15:30, and then drove straight to the comp which was 10 minutes from my work.
  • For a flight to get to a comp: 4:00 - This was the day before the competition. I always get accommodation and stay over night if the comp is far away. Does this still count?
