Post your entry videos or times here. Remember that if you think you might win, you must provide a video.

If any competitors have questions or comments, please continue to use the original thread!

If you did not register, unfortunately the competition has already started and it is too late to join.

I will find the fastest time tomorrow at around noon EST, and the winner will get a 10$ gift card to TheCubicle! Best of luck to everyone competing.

The best I was able to get on virtual cube was 2.06. Probably shouldn't count for the competition imo, but I had fun doing it.

I played around with a couple of computer generated solutions, but I ended up going with a variant of Cube Explorer's optimal QTM solution. I generated the optimal solution, but found that it was a little bit lefty heavy, so I just did all the moves from a y2 rotation. Because I didn't feel like adding two extra moves to every solve, I just put the y2 in with the scramble.

I should also note that I didn't memorize the solution. I just made a google doc of all the keys I needed to type in order to solve the cube. If anyone's interested in trying this out, here's the keys below. I'm sure some people who are into typing can get insane times by doing this.

I got 2.52 with a new solution but didn't record because my solution doesn't even compare to tipster's. I am unable to execute tipster's solution well given such little time to practice.

so, tipster won, but he requested that i instead give the prize to second place. That would be you, if you had a video! if you can film a similar solve to prove that you got sub 3, you can win the 10$! if not, i will find third place

Hello, I request that you give to third place. I have no use for a gift card anyway and was not seeking to win it.
