Ok so I just realised something MINDBLOWING! Should I rename the petition to 'Make the WCA and Speedstacks make a 4-2 pad mode, with 4 pad start and 2 pad finish, Now sliding is gone, and not getting used to stuff is gone.

And plus I'm sub 9
with 2 pad BUT SUB 11 ON 4 pad!

Thank you - I'm very sorry if I came across as rude. It's just that this isn't really the same as clock - most people think 4-pad is a good idea.

The cost has been talked about extensively as has the patent thing. The patent will be a non-issue - there will be knockoffs very quickly, I'm sure. The cost? Gimme a break. Yes, I wish they were cheaper but 30 bucks is not that much. The people complaining probably own Gan cubes or some Moyu flagship and see no issue. Why aren't they buying something cheaper?

And, even this part is not true. Sub-WR single has been downsolvable on 4-pad for years now before WCA was even hinting at including 4-pad. and during testing, Kevin Hays was doing testing with top 2x2 solvers to make sure that they can infact get WR single. Quote from Kevin Hays: "Yeah so I watched someone consistently down solve a 4 move 2x2 solution on 4-pad in under .39. It’s also been physically proven that times under .3 are possible if you hit everything perfectly optimized. I have been assured by the world’s most qualified individuals that the records as they currently stand are all beatable under 4-pad mode."
