Don't think too much

This is an interesting topic. I have experienced this firsthand, also the opposite. It happened mostly when I was slower. For me at least, I figured that the time changes are real but the cause is %90 mental. Thinking doesn't change your times significantly, it's the fact that you change things about your solution. for instance, when I'm thinking about a solve I will sledgehammer a of twice as often which for some people may have a good effect and others a negative effect. If you disagree let me know.

Without focus i need forever to find f2l pairs and to recognise certain cases. I guess it is good to "not think too much" when you already have the
ability to solve quite fast, maybe like sub15 or faster. If you are not at that point, then it is not a good idea.
