does shengshou 6x6 need to be modded

i have a shengshou 6x6 and it's turn not so smooth, so does it need to be modded and how to mod it ?

how about trying to use it for awhile so it'll be broken in? most cubes won't turn smooth out of the box

It takes a while to break it in. I modded it. It seems better now that I've modded it and broken it in. It doesn't pop as much, which is a huge bonus.

I am just breaking mine in and it is great. I also took at the stock lube and put in maru and a bit of lubix.

it needs breaking in, but if you want to mod it, i suggest, do the corner pi mod, for 5x5 and cut off excess plastic and lube it all
