Does anyone LIKE the V6 mech.?????

i think the clickyness prevents some lock up issues but its too stiff really.... i mean the lockyness is stiff not the puzzle... also the lockyness seems to cause misalignments for me often...

The mech is horrible. It makes the cube nearly impossible to turn. I messed up while glueing the pins in doing the whole pi mod and I need to buy the right screws because I broke the core and I might as well make it adjustable at this point.

Instead of doing the Pi mod you should get some screws and somehow grind part of it up so it have permanent "pins".

I personally do not like the V6 mechanism, because it just causes a bunch of clickiness, pops, and lockups. I like my V6 modded, but I have met people who like the V6 just the way it is, in its clicky, hard to turn form. My guess is that if you ask everyone who owns a V6, most people will probably say they like their V6 modded.

I think the mechanism is absolutely amazing. I like the clicking, the popping is a minor problem that can be dealt with, and the lockups are easily sorted.

I dont mind it, it does prevent speed a bit, but with a cube that size, it'sv to be expected
i dont really like 6x6 anyway, too big AND parity -.-'
