The pyraminx or nxnx1 puzzles are the ones where I have found the concept of commutator to be the weakest.
But commutators are present in all twisty puzzles that I know of (Note it is not Rubik's puzzles that I am talking of)
Can anyone list of twisty puzzle that even though can be math-ed out into group theory , does not use commutators?
