DIY type D

I recently bought a type d cube from Cube4you, i was just wondering when i would receive the package, i have been waiting for 2 weeks now and they JUST sent me a email! saying that they are going to send it as soon as possible, but in my account it said it was already sent? WHAT THE HECK!

Also people say the type D cube sucks now, does it really?

Mine wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but I've never tried an old one.
Most people say that it's because of the screws.
You should have gotten a C4Y cube.

And yeah, their shipping sucks. It takes a rather long time.

I recently received the Type-D.
It's definitely a good cube, but the key is to replace the core with this:

and the screws with this:
http://www.cube4you.com/111_Screw+Washer+Spring.html
Then it is transformed into quite a good cube.

By the way, the washers in the screw set do not fit the Type-D, but some replacements from your local hardware store will do fine.
