Should I buy the White DIY cube, or the Black DIY cube. Please explain why, and I'm sort of leaning toward the black one currently. It $1 cheaper, but money is NOT a problem.

P.S. I just found another part of their website.

www.edsthinkshop.com/twisty

It gives $1 Discount :o

I just got a red and a white cube from cube4you...just because they look cool. I put the red one together and I'm surprised how much more stable (lot harder to pop) than rubiks.com DIYs, even when it's tuned very loose. I haven't put the white one together yet, so I can't speak for it, but I have heard people claim that white plastic is softer and therefore breaks in easier.

I have red, orange, and white DIYs from cube4you (I think that's where the red ones came from when I got it at Cornell). The main difference between the different colored cubes is sticker colors- colors will just look different when on a different colored cube.

Looking at the two from edsthinkshop.com, the DIYs are made from the same place (both have yellow core), so expect either to move the same as the other.

I dont know for sure, but I dont think the quality depends on the color. I like the black and wite ones better for recognition. but its funny if I play for a while with one and then take the other, then it looks odd and I have to adapt to get as fast times as before
