This happened to my type d that I had. There is nothing you can do except get a new core. What cube is this by the way?

Well. Is this a brand new cube? Or one that you've been using for a while?
I remember a friend telling me that he adjusted his DIY too much and the threads stripped inside the core.

i got it from deal extreme i think it was a type c

Can you link us to the cube?

Was it this one : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16433

Also if you file a customer support ticket explaining what has happened with some pictures they will send you a whole brand new cube. I ended up with a brand new type c and a brand new qj 4x4 from them lol. My type c was missing a center cap and my qj 4x4 got too loose =p
