DIY assembly ...?

my brother put together his white diy (i got 2 but didnt put em together yet) and it seems that every time one of the layers turns 45 degrees, one of those edge rivets gets caught on a corner cap, on 1 or 2 sides ... if you force it, it could pop easily ... does this always happen ... does it just need to be broken in ... by the way, theres no lube in it yet

i uses the LBL method to assemble my cube, but fridrich works too
corner first doesnt work at all, but i still managed to do it like that
