Did you like cubing more as a beginner, intermediate cuber or an advanced cuber ?

Like cubing more now or then ?

This question came up when @Adm_cb
Said in a thread I made asking if there was a way I could sort my solves so I can prperly switch timers "I know it hurts but cant you just restart everything".

For some reason this made me think "hmmm, do I like cubing more now or more when I just started out ?".

I personally don't have an answer ti my own question.

But, what about the people on the forums ?

Im gonna class beginner as anyone who averages more then 30s (3x3)
Im gonna say Intermediate is some who avgs 15 - 30 seconds (3x3)
And advanced is anyone averaging sub 15 (3x3).
Regardless of the lvl i think that for most people (beginners)there is a lot much to do compared to more advanced cubers (sub 20 ~)
And you enjoy something more when ur doing it for fun rather than improvement.

When I averaged about 30 seconds i really enjoyed cubing the most but i got burned out for about a year after struggling to learn f2l then later i finally learned it and my average dropped from 30 to 20 in half a year and here i am now

I think I was most into cubing in 2020. I frequented the forum way more and kept up with a lot of the method development; exciting times, I remember them well. I've been cubing, on and off, since 2008ish so I go through phases of interest. I pretty much always cube casually tho. Since 2020 I've averaged ~20 seconds. I've had small improvements, here and there, but nothing major. Mostly, I'm holding myself back because I refuse to learn more algs - it's for sure a me problem.

My best experience in cubing was when I was a beginner from 2008 to 2014. After that learning too many algs, and getting harsh comments from top cubers really made it hard to continue.

Fortunately, I have a lot of passion for speedcubing especially multi-blind so I did not quit all these years. My peak came in 2018 which is almost 8 years back now!
