diansheng with white core

Sorry if this topic has been brought up before but i tried the search function and it didn't show any relevant stuffs.

I recently bought a diansheng and it has a white core instead of a red one that i see most dianshengs have..

does anybody know anything bout this? i love this diansheng...it's amazing...much better at cutting corners than the red core ones that i tried..
btw it's painted.

i aslo had a black Diansheng with a black core ( i believe its a type D) and my other white Diansheng which i gave to a friend had a somewhat grey core

where did you get your black DS from? Yep I also have a white core in my DS which i ordered from Rubiksfans on ebay (its number 222 DS) It has a white core and normal shaped edges, it says it's stickered but when I got mine they were painted

yeap..mine is the no. 222 diansheng and it's far better than the previous dianshengs that i've tried..

about the edges..mine look like normal DIY or storebought edges, but do the other dianshengs have different edges?

and erm..black DS? i dont think they exist...
speaking of that..is it possible to spray a DS black cos i prefer black cubes..lol.

btw i bought it from a local mall..not online

yeh most DS's have sharpened pieces, most of the people prefer normal edged DS's but the stickered DS with sharpened edges that I have is really smooth

it seems diansheng to me since it has those arrows in the centerpiece..all cubies do seem alike with my white diansheng..I'll try providing a picture later

it couldn't be type D cubies coz its smaller than my white type D but its core is black

i forgot to take a picture on the screws..i was too lazy to take the caps of and unscrew the cube..but its was the typical screw of type E's which are identical to that of old type D screws

my type (E) cubes has white cores too..

and my type (D) cubes has the black ones and some of them has transparent core...

i got it from SM mall here in Cebu city..i live in the Philippines btw..i got that black DS for 70 pesos.

it came out from a box called rubiks cube with a clown on the cover

Are you sure that's a DS? Cos I see those 'clown' cubes selling here in malaysia too..and yes the colours are painted..though i doubt they're DS cubes...

mines not painted.its actually stickered..and yes, im certain it's a DS cube except that it has this black core which i think is type D

But then the pictures show that the clown cube and the black DS are 2 different cubes..so vloc15 is yours the clown cube or the black DS? If your core is black it should be the clown cube right?

Damn I might get myself one of those as it's sold in a stall here..

mine is the clown cube..i was really wondering if the clown cube= DS cube the centers are really the same as with the cubies..i actually bought to of those clown cubes..one i made a hybrid with my type A third model which is my main speedcube..clowncube centers and third model cubies
