Deep lookahead on inspection

What you guys think of people looking into 3 pairs or part of second block on inspection? This is getting more common

I can barely plan cross some times lol

I created this thread so we can post examples and discuss about that.

sometimes I can inspect 2 pairs on maximum, but normally I inspect the cross plus first pair, on very bad occasions, I inspect only the cross.

I usually inspect the cross, but on bad occasions, I only inspect 3/4. Then I have a 0.5 second pause to find the first pair and lookahead the rest

I think it has more to do with tracking pieces than memorizing planned moves. The more I try to plan my every move the worse I do. The more I try to memorize all the relevant pieces the better I do.

I normally plan cross + 1 f2l pair, but I'm trying to be able to see a 2nd pair, and not plan it, but just look ahead to it while I'm solving my cross and 1st pair. As of now I can only do it on easier scrambles, but every time I do it I seem to get a sub 8. I think this is a good next step if you can already plan cross + 1 and I'll be working on this after I become color neutral.

after that it will just be too much to track which will make u slower

how will it make you slower to look ahead more in inspection?

It is. It is like cross but with no piece in DF

I can consistently plan EO and figure out where my Arrow pieces will be after EO.

It is not common for cross+2 amongst elite solvers yet it probably will be soon.

You can use multislotting to have fewer moves for f2l.
