Dayan+MF8 4x4x4 - Help me!

Hello, my Dayan+MF8 4x4 arrived a week ago and I've already put silicon in it, but the inside layers are simply horrible. What should I do with it?

Dismantle it 100%. I mean into pieces. Everything. Even the innermost white core. Look at all the white core pieces and sand away any extra plastic nubs you see. Then reassemble the white core until only one piece is still out. Add lubricant to that spot. Work in the lube of the core itself before reassembly. Once your inner core is gliding assemble the rest. Your inner layers will be smoother and faster because a lot of the resistance comes from the friction caused by the inner core.

Just a side note, if you have Lubix use it on the white core. It seems to respond better than silicone sprays like CRC and jigaloo. For the cubies whatever you have works. Mine are actually unlubed for now and with the inner core lubed with Lubix it turns very well.

I just used normal silicone spray (GhostHand) to lube the white inner core. Now it's awesome!

Mine was horrible out of the box, I put some lubix on the core (the white parts) and now it's super smooth. I just put some shock oil on the outer parts.

If they would make a Mini QJ sized one I'd be a happy camper.
