DaYan GuHong Problem

So today I finally assembled my GuHong and I'm having some problems! First of all, when the tension is at a good speed, it constantly pops. Then, when I tighten it to the point where it doesn't pop, it's way too slow!

Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix it

Your impression was incorrect. And I don't have any lube at the moment, I'm at my cousin's house. I was under the impression that it worked great without lube?

The DayanI absolutely sucks without lube, maybe this suffers a similar problem.

When I got mine and assembled it and everything, I felt that the cube was way to slow and stiff. As soon as I lubed it the cube became super fast. So fast in fact that I had to tighten it to make it turn slower because I was constantly overshooting my turns.

disassembled the cube and lubed with jigaloo a lot of light quick sprays

With no lube, the cube cube is crap. It'll pop, or just turn nasty. Put a few drops of shock oil and you'll see an immediate improvement. HINT: god mode.
