When did you start speedcubing or cubing what is your average since then?

Ive been cubing for 3 months and my average is 35 seconds.

I started cubing December 1st 2007, and I average ~14 now. I prefer one-handed and I average 21 I need to start practicing that again lol

27th of January 2009 was the day, when I solved a Rubik's Cube without help the first time in my life.
Now I average around 31 seconds after 3.5 months.

Yea, I knew a basic method for quite some time. I remember looking way back then at all the CFOP algs and telling myself I couldn't do it. I lost interest in it and picked it back up about a year ago. I had forgotten how to solve it at that time. When I relearned I was about 1:50 an average. So all the progress has been in the last year, but I first learned about 8-9 years ago.

are you kidding me? You must have practised A LOT! I average 16-17 seconds and I've been cubing for a year longer than you.

I started cubing in 2005 (cubing, not speed) took a year for the first solve (no book/internet, YAY!)
I started SPEED cubing about 2~3 months ago (can't remember when, I had a 1:15 average before I consider it 'speed')
and no I average 35 (haven't timed reciently)
