My first 2/2 was 14 minutes lol. When I was averaging 3 minutes on 3BLD.

well I average like 35 seconds so its not really a comparisonMy first 2/2 was 14 minutes lol. When I was averaging 3 minutes on 3BLD.
Yes, although it would help if you practiced a lot this coming week.So I have a comp in 9 days and the last time I did a 3bld solve was in November. Is there a chance I get a success?
Yeah but I know M2 but can’t get success with it and totally forgot OP for edges. So I feel like unregisteringYes, although it would help if you practiced a lot this coming week.
I think you can do it. I would say just try and relearn M2 as fast as possible because it’s really easy, no real algs needed (except for C, I, S, and W) and the setup moves are very intuitive. You know how to solve corners, correct?Yeah but I know M2 but can’t get success with it and totally forgot OP for edges. So I feel like unregistering

Try taking a video of your solve and seeing where you messed up, you could also post it on the forums if you can't find the issue. Here are some M2 setup moves I find more intuitive for the side faces(L and R faces)FI know M2 and corners but I don’t know why but can’t get successes with it
I do all of these and I still mess up EVEN WILL SIGHTED. I’ll just relearn opTry taking a video of your solve and seeing where you messed up, you could also post it on the forums if you can't find the issue. Here are some M2 setup moves I find more intuitive for the side faces(L and R faces)
H- u' L' u (M2) u' L u
E, F, G- Do an L move to setup to H.
N- u R u' (M2) u R' u'
M, P, O- Do an R move to setup to N.
I find these setup moves better as they are easy and intuitive, plus they are fingertrickable and you don't have to rotate.
Do you how to do I/S and C/W?I do all of these and I still mess up EVEN WILL SIGHTED. I’ll just relearn op
*C/W. Yeah, this is a pretty easy mistake to make. Also forgetting to do parity when sighted.Do you how to do I/S and C/U?
I know everything EXCEPT when parity happensDo you how to do I/S and C/W?
Bruh it’s just D’ L2 D M2 D’ L2 DI know everything EXCEPT when parity happens
Do I do this every solve?Bruh it’s just D’ L2 D M2 D’ L2 D
Do it after edges and before corners
You do it just when you have an odd number of letters for edges and corners, when you have an even number of letters for edges and corners, you don't do itDo I do this every solve?
Ok the thing is I am practicing only M2 edges and just can’t get successes. I am 99% sure I will be unregistering for bldYou do it just when you have an odd number of letters for edges and corners, when you have an even number of letters for edges and corners, you don't do it
Yeah. I mean, when you are memoing edges with parity, you can swap the UB and UL edges and say that WO becomes A/Q and WB becomes D/E. In other words, when you get to one edge, you memo as the other edge. You end up getting an even amount of edges, compared to an odd amount of corner swaps. Then what happens is that during the solve, the edges will be swapped and you don't have to worry about parity as much. You do it just when you have an odd number of letters for edges and corners, when you have an even number of letters for edges and corners, you don't do it
What I'd suggest is that when you memo for edges, count the # of corner swaps you need to do before memoing edges. That way, you can practice doing parity that way. That helped me with parity a bit.Ok the thing is I am practicing only M2 edges and just can’t get successes. I am 99% sure I will be unregistering for bld
Just try to do some solves where you write down the lettersOk the thing is I am practicing only M2 edges and just can’t get successes. I am 99% sure I will be unregistering for bld
I am dnfing by 5e every time. I have no confidence in this eventWhat I'd suggest is that when you memo for edges, count the # of corner swaps you need to do before memoing edges. That way, you can practice doing parity that way. That helped me with parity a bit.
