I'm new to cubing as you know, only been doing it for about 2 months. I'm really interested in it and I've solved the cube atleast 30 times a day.

I think I might be getting rubik's wrist (Or RPI/RPO which is repeatative strain injury/order) I used to have a steady hand but now it shakes quite alot ^^ also I play badminton and my wrists were aching so I was thinking maybe it was related to cubing. I draw a lot, and used to paint, I'm "gifted and talented" at Art, so that's also something that I'm interested in, I just hope my less steady hands won't change my drawing.

I have 4 cubes at the moment, all 3x3x3. A 'Competition Speed Cube' which was "Developed my the worlds fastest speed cubers to make the ultimate cube" it cost me £12, which is about $24. I also have a transparent one which I don't use, that was £10 ($20). I have my old one which isn't useable and a white DIY which I need to buy lube for.

I just ordered these from Cube4You: White Square 1 DIY. Eastsheen E4. Eastsheen E2. The postage and packaged was £6 ($12) so in total I spent about £30($60) They'll hopefully arrive some time next week.

I'd be interested in going to the London competition when ever it is on, I'd have to get down there somehow, I live in north england, it'd mainly depend on my parents since I'm only 15 ^^
My 3x3x3 solve times are quite crazy, they range from 25-60+ On average I usually get between 37 and 45, but on some good solves I can average low 30s. I'd need to improve to do any good at the competition, my F2L is quite slow, my time is usually 25-30 when I finish my F2L, but I try to aim to have finished my OLL by 30 seconds.

I know about 19 OLLs and all 21 PLLs, so I'm doing okay at memorising them. :)

Thought I'd make this post just to tell you a little about myself since I'm new.
Thanks, Theromy.

Ohhh Birmingham, I instantly thought London ^^

I'll try to come along, even if I didn't do that well it's be a great experience :)

Do you wear a supportive wrist band / arm band when you play?

Hey, that actually doesn't sound like a bad idea for cubing, either. Try wearing a wristband or armband when you cube.

I don't, but I'm buying one this week (For Badminton so I don't get wrist injuries)

I have a serious injury because I didn't realise how bad it was. I fell on my lower cocsyx(sp?) which is at tip of your spine, I thought it was just a bruise but it was broken, it then healed in the wrong position and the soft tissue around it was damaged and I now have scarred tissue :(

I can't play things like football much anymore due to it, I struggle to sprint/run long distance and large leg movements can also hurt. I can't lay on my back comfortably either since it's swollen.

Ok after 1 and a half weeks they've arrived
Eastsheen 2x2x2, Eastsheen 4x4x4, Square 1 White DIY, 3x3x3 Keyring, Yellowcore(a) and washer+screw set.

I solved my 2x2x2, after about my first 3 solves I decided to time myself, I got 14.xx
From what I knew about 4x4x4s (without looking at tutorials today) I solved all the way up to the first 3 layers. I need to orient and permute the last layer.
I messed up my square 1 but I can't get it back together yet :(
