Cubing Mentor

[Jaysammey777]

Hypothetically, if you could have a mentor by your side for cubing, who would it be?

Post who you think should be the best cubing mentor.
Don't post yourself, and try to make it their full name.

[Erzz]

Erik Akkersdijk or Joël van Noort.

[ianography]

Feliks Zemdegs, duh

[Kirjava]

Dan Cohen

[Cool Frog]

Thom Barlow to teach me a bunch of cool methods.

[Magix]

Just saying, having a world record doesn't necessarily mean the person would be the best for teaching you.

[masterofthebass]

jon choi...

owait already happened.

[Dene]

Dene Beardsley.

[Gaétan Guimond]

The mentor is you're stranger and Fridrich

The man of return of the cube

WHO ???

[d4m4s74]

As I'm concentrating on BLD right now, and I like his methods, I'd go for Stefan Pochmann.

Edit, since I smoke he probably wouldn't accept me as a mentee

[teller]

At this point in my career, probably Rowan Kinneavy

[Kynit]

I would say Mike Hughey or Chris Hardwick, but both them go into such detail on the forums that they practically mentor everyone already!

[Systemdertoten]

Stefan all the way.

[OMGitsSolved]

Erik Akkersdijk on 3x3 for sure. Dan Cohen for 4x4+. Anthony Brooks 2x2. And I would really like Yohei Oka to help me with his method and Oscar Roth Andersen to help me learn beginners WO for Pyraminx.

[cmhardw]

Richard Patterson (he already is my mentor actually)

[qqwref]

In the past? Tim Reynolds, easily.

Right now? Nobody specifically comes to mind... it would be anyone fast (and not an ass) who can keep me motivated enough to actually practice or learn algs.

[Kian]

It's always been Kyle, of course.

Seconded, but only hangover Kyle. I like his aura of mysteriousness.
