Hey everyone, I'm a mod over at the /r/Cubers subreddit and we run a massive survey every year to get an idea of what the cubing community is up to in terms of general statistics, habits, and preferences. An awesome member of our community, b4silio, helped us this year and last year to put a comprehensive survey together as well as putting together a beautiful analysis of the stats we collected.
Here's the TLDR version of the previous results: https://basilio.dev/cubing/megasurvey/
And here's the full analysis: https://basilio.dev/cubing/megasurvey/CubingMegasurvey2021.pdf
In order to get some more eyes on what we're doing, and getting some more complete statistics, I'm posting the link to this year's survey here. I will warn you that it definitely puts the "mega" in "mega survey". To mitigate this, we're using a platform that allows everyone to just select the sections they're interested in answering. Additionally, you can add a username and password (this doesn't appear on the results so you'll remain anonymous), to save the survey progress and continue at a later time.
The survey will close on January 27th, 2023 so there's still plenty of time to submit your responses. Admittedly, I don't browse forum too often but I'll keep an eye on this thread to help answer any questions. The best place to get a response will probably be submitting a mod mail on reddit or posting a comment in the survey announcement thread. I will do my best to keep up if there are any questions here, though.
