Is a sub-18 average good for me?

Info:
Been cubing from February - March (broken cube) May 17th - June 29th (broken cube) July 21st - October 20th (cubing for 8 months)
Using LBL + Full PLL
Doing about 500 solves a week for practice.
Using YuXin Fire since July 21st
Using Gans 356 Air UM Since September 9th

Yeah thats actually pretty good, since youre using LBL and have only been cubing for less than a year. Im close to sub 18, i average 19 with cfop

I average about 17s and have been cubing since December. I'd say that's pretty good

Its not bad but not fantastic tbh. You're probably in the faster improving half of the population.

Thanks! When I got my cube back in May, I broke my pb 3 times.

56 seconds, 46 seconds, then 44 seconds. (pb before these 1:01)

It's pretty good to average sub-20 that fast. It took me a long time to average sub 20 and right now I'm sub-15, 2.5 years since I started cubing. Just work on look ahead.

My look ahead for the edges is pretty good. I look at where the edge is going to be oriented. Like if I'm putting a corner in with a green and red edge under it, I do "U R U' R" and I look at the edge in the slot, and see what sticker color will end on the side and the top.
