Answer to 3. I don't think cubing is worth devoting your life to, so I would definitely advise against dropping a bunch of fun events just for that tiny chance. Cubing should be enjoyable and there is practically zero chance of actually making it into some kind of job.Since I'm on vacation I don't really cube that much this week, and I watched Dylan Miller's latest 2 videos about cubing that is changing because You can't make money by cubing and that usa needs more kids, since everyone is "old".
And these vidoes made me think about the fact that I want to do cubing "forever" and If it could be my job, than I could devot my life to it, but If it happens, than the world class 3x3ers are going to get first, and they are just going to be first in most thing, If cubing gets in like olympics, than is going to be most probably just 3x3, maybe OH and Bld.
So I think I decided that I'm going to main just 3x3, and skewb since I'm already good at it, so no longer doing other events, like clock and pyra.
I still think I'm going to do them at comp, but not practicing them.
Now, can someone answer me some questions?
1. I average 12-14 seconds, is it really worth learning coll, I don't mind learning algs
2. What events should I do, like which cubes to help me getting better at 3x3
3. Is it really better what I'm going to do or should I still be an all rounder
If You have anything to say, fell free to say it
I won't answer the others as I'm not an expert on 3x3.
