Cube4you Type C

I like them. You may. You may not. They aren't good or bad, they're just cubes. Order one and find out.

They definitely vary. My first was absolute junk. It popped nearly every solve, and usually not due to misalignment, but just tons of flash still on the pieces catching. It didn't turn too bad. But it locked up and popped way too much.

Now my second type C was pretty nice. Turns well, doesn't lock up, and pops are fairly rare. It's my main speedcube for now.

All of my type C cubes have been quite good.

My green one was okay.
Black one was good.
Gray one was great~

At 4 dollars, its super cheap, but the shipping is over 2 times the price of the cube...

I highly recommend that you replace the core and screws with the cube4you brand ones. My pure type C was good, but popped a bit. After I switched the core, it was much better and is now my current speedcube.

I personaly love the type C. One of my first cubes, though lately I have been looking into the Cube4you cubes

DO THIS ABSOLUTELY.

Don't forget the springs too. Personally, the cube4you screw and spring and core are at the perfect length and tension and unlike the type C screw, you can have more accuracy while tuning it because the threads arent as steep.

I agree, this is a VERY good combination. However, it is the Noisiest Cube in the Entire Universe.

You guys are correct, but dont you also want to replace the center pieces??

So you have C4Y core, C4Y screws+springs C4Y centerpieces + Type C cubies.

Because my c centerpieces dont fit in C4Y screws and springs.

The C4Y centers are slightly wider than the C edges.
It feels... weird to me, i dont like it.

Do what you want, theres no rule against it, I just dont.
The pieces fit better when theyre uniform.

EDIT: Thats odd... my centers fit the spring and screw... What type of C is it? The older ones? Or the ones with the notches on the centers? Or even the ones with the JSK-like caps? ( so many types d: )

I tried this for a while, hoping the cube would eventually break in, but it wasn't nearly as good as with the type C centers. I had to use a considerable amount of force to push the threaded part of the cube4you screw through the type C center, but afterwards its fine and it didn't seem to have any negative effects (well, maybe it did but its still better than any other cube I've used)

when i originally got my c i over tightened it and iw was rubbish, after slghtly loosening it, it was nice, but still quite locky and not that smooth (after lube)

You obviously haven't heard my heavily worn-in and lubed Rubik's.
