Cube Lubing Problems

Prepare to head desk or face palm *alot*. Yes, I'll admit I am a newbie to lubing cubes and this is why I am here. I got a Ghosthand , or F type, cube, white. On Lube The Cube website they recommended the assembly lube. So I got some assembly lube and, like how they did it, I put a few drops into one of the cubies and snapped it back in place, randomized it for a good minute or two, and did a few solves on it. It still felt like it was dragging, like unlubed plastic on unlubed plastic. So I repeated with the same method and same results. So I put a bunch of lube in to speed up the process. Was good for a solve or two but it started to quickly feel sluggish, not dragging like before, but like rubbing two sticky surfaces against one another. What am I doing wrong here? This is official Rubik's assembly lube as they recommended on Lube The Cube. Help? :P

you probably over lubricated it or you didn't work it in enough. That usually happens to me. I use CRC silicone spray sometimes it takes a while to work in. It also depends on the type of plastic. Certain lubes react to different cubes different ways. I would recommend cleaning out and re-lubing it. If this still happens clean it out again and try a different lubricant.

Hope this Help :)

If it comes in a shringe (spelt wrong) than its really really really good for balled core 4x4s, its bad on 3x3s I put some in my type F, and it was crap, basicly trash. So I sanded off the silicone build up, and retensioned it, now its amazing,
