Cube Lube From China Destroyed My Cube?

Hello Cubers!
I used some cheap lube from Aliexpress to lube my cube. After like 1 or 2 weeks I noticed that the screws and springs had a white-ish film and are on some points a bit rusty.
Because I'm new to cubing I actually don't really know how to lube it properly. Maybe it's my fault because you don't lube the center pieces?

My questions are should I clean it and if yes how? Is the lube crap?

Have a great day and Bye!

This is Z lube, known by many, and not bad for your cube. The problem is that the lube is water based. Water based lube will rust your hardware if it comes in contact with it, so you must be careful with it. By the looks of it, you may as well have lubed your core with water. There is no way to fix this, besides replacing the hardware. There are a number of cube shops that sell spare parts such as the cubicle, but you will need to email them about it. If you have used this on any other cube, I recommend cleaning it out immediately. When you re lube, only lube the plastic pieces. Do not lube your core with this. Get a silicone based lube like weight 4 for your core. Indeed, do not lube your centers. Look up a tutorial on YouTube for lubing.

Edit: double post

You can actually try to remove rust from metal parts using vinegar
Removing rust kind of works. I am guilty of ruining the hardware in my Valk 2, but vinegar didn't help. You could try something like a rust remove solution found at many hardware stores and amazon, but it would probably be better to just get new hardware.
