Cube Collectors Club

Here's a throwback: http://tonyfisherpuzzles.net/PuzzleShopSpeedcubes.html

That's exactly what I've done. This list is a few months old now. Currently on 175, as best as I can tell!
My spreadsheet currently has the following columns:
Date, Price, Name, Color, Picture, Location (ex. lost or in drawer), Note

The easiest way is probably to go through my online orders which should be relatively easy to search.

I've done the same thing. Have also included where I ordered from, and price (best not to add it all up, though). And I started an Instagram account to keep images.

Good luck with it - would be keen to see a full list!

I have enough cubes now (100+) that I'm starting to forget the names of them. The logical thing to do is to organize them in a spreadsheet and finally tally how many puzzles I have. If I decide to do it, any guesses?
Yo that's what I was gonna do for mine! Lol
I counted mine yesterday and got 113, but I'm sure there was at least one cube hiding in the shadows, maybe more.

Yeah mine has name, price, date of release (some) and colour/type included in description. Don't really need/want purchase date or location. I basically know where they all are. It's just a matter of keeping a handle on what I've got. I also like the fact that this layout fits on one page, though maybe not in the future!? As someone else mentioned; best not to total up the overall cost!! Ha ha.

If any of you have Insta pages detailing your collection, please let me know - would love to peruse and follow!

Wasn't sure which thread to put this in? So this one is my choice. The lube thread is mainly about current/modern cubes.
I recently scored a first batch (first 5000) 144g Hungarian cube, with the poor moulding edges and hand cut stickers.
It's no speed cube, I'm sure everyone knows that. But it is extremely stiff to turn. It is obviously very old (for a cube) and a collection piece. I would however like to try to free it up a little bit, so I can very occasionally solve it.
So my question is: does anyone else have one of these? Or any advice on cleaning/lubing it? I don't know how easily it could be dismantled and certainly don't want to damage it at all. I presume a few drops of any of the silicone lubes won't do any harm? But I don't want to do anything irreversible, it wouldn't be too easy to replace.
Thanks in advance for any help or ideas, MK
PS, collection is now running at 235..

What is it made of? Silicone is usually pretty harmless to plastic. Maybe Tony Fisher will know.

You mean the lube, qwr? I have a range of silicone lubes, I could try a couple of drops I guess?
I presume the center caps come off? But if they're glued on, I don't want to go forcing anything. Just popping an edge piece out at 45 degrees might be risky? The old cubes aren't as flexible as modern ones and I'd hate to break a cubie.
Yes, I guess I can see if Tony has anything on his website. Or even message him directly?
Thanks..
