Complaing about good times

Being that my best average is 52.58, I kind of agree.

However, for me, I find it more amusing than irritating. I'm on a whole other realm from you guys (sadly, for now), so even hearing people complain about a 25 second solve is inconcievable to me... Just as newer cubers would find it funny/irritating if I complained about a 65 second solve, I understand that by their standards, a 16 second solve might not be that good.

Especially if it was a really easy scramble and they would have expected it to be better.

Whatever, don't worry about it, b/c it's not going to go away.. but you are still right, they have nothing to complain about.

Ah.. Anyone who is getting times that are way worse than their usual average, has the right to complain. If I have a sup16 average, I am pissed.

But of course, complaining should not take hours. I know some people who keep on saying negative things about their cubing and their times (on bad days), and THEN it gets annoying... Besides, if you keep on looking at it from the negative side, it won't help to improve anything..

Just my thoughts..

haha, i would be estatic about a 20 sec time :) , though i am really hoping that i will be pissed with a 20sec time in a year or so ;p

I agree with Jo?l. I depends on what times you are used to getting. I get upset if my average gets above 15.50 to 16.00. I might say something negative about it, but then I move on. I can think of a couple of cubers that complain and make up excuse after excuse for "bad" times. That gets extremely annoying. I hope that I am not viewed this way

Jon,

I thought you liked my excuses :P

At what point is it not an excuse and just a needed explanation? If I do 10 seconds worse than my global average on a solve I feel obligated to share the reason why. It's because I'm a ninja :ph43r:

3-Look and 4-Look tutorials can be found on my site. The advanced f2l section is still there too. Just thought I'd share:
