Guys i have been struggling in competition because of certain gen mutation called colourblindness.
This weaken my confidence and my time during solves and i'm so mad about it....
I started going to a WCA competition since lates 2023
and my first ever competition starting not to well by getting 9.40s average and a lucky 6.48s singles...
it's not going good until my second WCA competition when i got a DNF average during finals....
This frustrated me because this is not my standard solves like i usually get at home which is a low 7s to mid 6s...
It's really hard to even get sub 10 and sub 9 easily at comp when i'm hardly getting this time during practices...
I am a mild protan colourblindness which is red green colourblindness but at comps i can't really differentiate between green side and orange side...Why is this happening?
At first i thought it was the lighting of the mall or the comps venue...i always had a problem with fluorescent light and bad lighting...i don't know if it's my skill issue or just colourblindness issue...
But i wanted to improved...
So i wanted to ask you guys about stickerless cube that can help with my problem or the stickered one...
or any tips to help me improved my solves during competition

My main cube that i have a colourblindness problem with:

Moyu WRM2021
GAN 356XS
GAN i carry
X Man Tornado v3 pioneer
Moyu RS3M V5 MAGLEV

MY Third WCA competition begin this 22 june hopefully to get sub 9 or sub 8 at least to see improvement

First try a cube with high contrast colors that hopefully make it easier to differentiate between red/orange and green. Depending on your color blindness though, that may not help much. If not, I’d recommend using stickered cubes and getting a custom color scheme which uses colors you can more easily differentiate between. It’ll take some time to get used to the scheme, but you should be able to find 6 colors you can differentiate between. Maybe introduce black or purple, or maybe even different shades of green, orange, and red?

My best solution is to main a cube that also has a black variant, and switch the green or orange side with black.
