Hello everyone.
Do any of you think that starting with a white/yellow cross offers any advantage in f2l recognition? Ever since I started cubing I picked the blue cross. I've noticed that sometimes I insert a wrong edge during f2l. For instance, I'll insert the white/red edge with the yellow/red/blue corner (confusing white with yellow) or the orange/yellow edge with the red/yellow/blue corner (confusing orange with red).
Now, this happens very rarely, but the fact that I sometimes confuse the colors might mean that I'm having a harder time recognizing them during f2l. Do you think that this is the case? And if so, do you think that it could be improved by switching to the white cross? I'll still have orange and red to deal with, but maybe green and blue are easier to tell from each other than yellow/white.
Thoughts? Also, do any of you color neutral cubers have any noticeable difference during f2l depending on which cross you chose to start with?
