Seeing that it got a little bit crowded for the examples listed here, this thread is dedicated to all playable Rubik's Cube challenges you can think of. If you know a Rubik's Cube challenge, I encourage you to create and post a simulator so that others could play with it.

Extension of the 4 color theorem (not to be confused with the 4-color cube).

Center sticker is adjacent to 8 stickers.
Edge sticker is adjacent to 8 stickers.
Corner sticker is adjacent to 7 stickers.

Solve the following 3x3x3 cube so that no adjacent stickers have the same color.

2x2x2 Sudoku cube v1

The goal is to have a different color on all four squares of each face.

2x2x2 Sudoku cube v2 Wisdom

The goal is to have a different color on all four squares of each face.

2x2x2 Sudoku cube v3 Master

The goal is to have a different color on all four squares of each face and each circular rings have 8 different colors which adds to the challenge! There are 6 circular rings in total, 3 of which are depicted below.

Maybe you have heard that it is impossible to twist a single corner piece by 120 degrees on a Rubik's cube.

Well, guess today´s challenge :)

As you can see, the URF corner needs to be twisted clockwise. And before you ask - yes, that 2x2x2 cube above is solvable.

3x3x3 Shepherd´s cube, corners and centers only
