Wow! Good idea!take your insert, flip it over, and draw on it
Set it upi have a ling ao clock and sometimes the pins wont move and i have to turn the gear while pushing the pin to fix it How can i fix this i dont really want to take it apart completely but if i have to i will![]()
Yeah, you'll probably have to take it apart and set it up. Watch some of these videos to get an idea on what you'll need to do.i have a ling ao clock and sometimes the pins wont move and i have to turn the gear while pushing the pin to fix it How can i fix this i dont really want to take it apart completely but if i have to i will![]()
Open the clock and lube it with a heavy lube like Traxxas 50KI am currently stuck on 16 seconds on clock using beginners method and a bad lingao clock. Any help that isn't buy a new clock? I haven't been able to find other methods, and ideas?
As someone starting to get into clock myself, I was wondering how much do you plan during inspection? I would guess that you plan all of one side and part of if not all of the other sides cross ?Do solves, and get a good clock. That’s really just how you get fast.
No don’t buy normal (shameless self promotion incoming) in fact, you could buy one of my clocks! Is it worth it to get a normal lingao clock? Or should I immediately buy a modded one?
That the only method. There’s not really any advanced methods for clocks.Which method should I use ? I use the method described in Z3Cubing's video.
That’s actually not true. In the ideal world people would be using no-flip for clock. The problem now is that current hardware makes the method too inconsistent. Stanley Chapel said he’s going to experiment with it since he got the angstrom clockThat the only method. There’s not really any advanced methods for clocks.
It's still the same method, you're just doing the first cross in the back. That’s actually not true. In the ideal world people would be using no-flip for clock. Yes, you still solve the cross on the back, but it is done in a different way than normal that is more advanced, but probably faster. As a result, it qualifies as a separate method or technique. Otherwise we wouldn’t distinguish things like EOCross from a normal cross that happened to have EO done afterwards, or VLS as a last pair that happened to skip OLL.It's still the same method, you're just doing the first cross in the back.
I'm not really following your logic here. A clock equivalent to your VLS example would be unintentionally skipping a few corners. anyway, why do you get to choose what qualifies as a different method?Yes, you still solve the cross on the back, but it is done in a different way than normal that is more advanced, but probably faster. That last sentence seems very hostile in my opinion, which really has no place here. We are just discussing ideas, and if your opinion is different, that’s fine. But anyway, I’m using VLS as an example right. In VLS, you solve the last pair in a specific way that will give you an OLL skip. So basically it’s just doing your last F2L slot/pair in a certain way to give you a certain benefit. I would consider no-flip on clock to be its own separate technique because although you still solve a cross on the back, it’s done in a certain way, which is without flipping, which gives you the benefit of not eating any time having to flip the clock over. So this follows the pattern of Cubers giving certain names/technique separation. Also, if you take any random person and have them watch two hypothetical Cubers solve clock, one the standard way, and one with no-flip, the person would probably tell you they are doing a slightly different method.I'm not really following your logic here.
