Clock and Other Things (Clock is Back)

Currently considering buying a very big cube. I have the old YuXin 9x9 and 11x11, but they're terrible compared to the new stuff, and the caps constantly fall off. I'm not sure if I go for one of the newer 11x11s (MoYu or YuXin), or the MoYU 13x13. Possibly even the 15x15. Thoughts? Also, I would prefer to not have an even-layered giant cube haha.
If you're gonna spend that kind of money, I'd suggest getting the diansheng magnetic 11x11.
I just got the 9x9 and it is so nice to have magnetic huge cubes. It takes away a lot of the annoyment with keeping things aligned.

I've decided that I no longer want to make clock my entire cubing identity. Being good at one specific event is both a blessing and a curse. Yes, I have multiple wins and other podiums with clock, but the amount of pressure I put on myself at comps to just do well in this event is immense. If I don't succeed in clock, the entire competition feels like a failure no matter how I did in other events. I will still continue to actively do clock, and I'm thankful there's an event where my world ranking is good. However, I want to perform well at other events too. I'm truly not great an NxNs, which I would very much like to change. I have multiple pyraminx podiums, so I'll continue to work at that too (along with skewb and likely megaminx). Will I ever crack top 30 in clock rankings? Probably not. But if I can perform well in a wider range of events and still maintain (and reclaim) around top 100 in the world for clock, I'll feel accomplished.

I have made a wonderful achievement today--a sub-4 Ao100 on 2x2! My Ao200 is ALMOST sub-4 (4.07). I'm not sure if I could consider myself sub-4 or not overall..Any thoughts?

I go by ao1000 for 2x2 but since you don't have 1000 solves yet, 250-500 is fine too

I have the MoYu 13x13. It feels really nice.

Also, don't worry about my pfp. That was a SengSo 10x10. (Thanks Jude for the spelling help)

I'm realizing that I've barely met any of my 2023 cubing goals which I set at the very beginning of this lovely year. This is a concern. I have also barely practiced clock because it stresses me out. Given how busy I've been, it does make sense why I haven't made immense progress in any events though. Here are my updated more reasonable (I hope) goals:

2x2: Sub-3.7

3x3: Sub-15/16

4x4: Sub-1

5x5: Sub-1:40

6x6: Sub-3:10

7x7: Sub-5

Pyraminx: Sub-4

Skewb: Sub-5.3

SQ-1: I don't care as long as it's not terrible.

Clock: Sub-5.3

OH: Make cutoff in December comp (I hate OH)

Megaminx: Sub-1:20

Not sure what to do with clock—I’ve kind of lost interest and it isn’t as fun as it used to be. It would be nice to still improve, since I’ve made this much progress. I might try 7-Simul again. I know how to use the method, but I cannot do simultaneous turns for the life of me. I don’t particularly like using the method, which is just personal preference. However, it’s still an extremely impressive method in my eyes, and I may attempt to get back into it if it will help decrease my times. My one concern is that I won’t have enough time to get down to what I currently average with flip.

Guess this is my quarter-life clock crisis.
