New 7-Simul PB Ao5! I feel like I'm making good progress very fast. For reference, my PB Ao5 with flip is 4.64. Of course it will be harder to get that low, but thus far, I'm making significantly faster progress on 7-Simul than I did on flip.

I memorize 3 pairs, so 6 letters/numbers in total. However, I’m getting to a point where the second number of the second pair is pretty intuitive (although memorizing it during inspection isn’t too difficult).

Getting closer to sub-7 with 7-Simul! I’ve made as much progress in a little over a week as I’d made in months when starting with flip. Of course, turning accuracy is better with lots of experience in any method, but the rate at which I’m speeding up is amazing. Hoping to be around what I average on flip in the near future!

I learned 7-Simul earlier this year, did very few solves, then forgot most of the method. Since picking it back up again, I've done 226 solves on CSTimer (a few more off CSTimer probably). 143 of those were successes.

What 3x3 should I buy? I think it’s time to try something new. I love my Tornado V3, and its been my main for a very long time. However, I believe I need to try something with a different feel. I‘ve seen people talking about the MoYu WRM V9, and of course, GAN makes new pricey 3x3s as often as Apple makes new pricey iPhones.

I’m open to any suggestions, as I truly don’t own many 3x3s.

I'm not sure whether you've tried the YS3M, but I absolutely love it. It comes out of the box way to fast, but after messing with the tensions and adding lube, its now my new favorite cube! I'd definitely recommend it.
