CCT problem on Mac (was: Simplify?)

This is Mad's instructions:

Replace the CALCubeTimer.jar with this one and set Scramble_Plugins_secure=false in profiles/defaults.properties

Let me repeat: DONT EVER USE A PRECOMPILED SCRAMBLE PLUGIN WITH THIS. If you do it's your own fault if your computer get's p0wned. No I will not fix your computer

Can someone please simplify these? This was from CCT not working. It's on a mac.

When he say Replace CalCubeTimer.jar with this one. It is a whole folder! I replace What with What? And What is the scramble plugin thing?

Same questions, do you have to recompile CCT after changing a line of code in a file in the folder? Its all very unclear.

And sorry, I have no idea how to simplify those instructions, they're crystal clear to me.

Ok... I think I know what the problem is there. When I first extraced the zip file, OS X actually unarchived the contained JAR file as well. If you open it using stuffit expander or another unzipper, then it should just unzip the file and leave you with the jar file.
