Has ANYONE bought the China Megaminx sold on Tribox?

I got a Megaminx today, here are the specs I got so far:

Edge of large pentagon (i.e. face of Minx, not center of Minx): 30 mm
Edge of corner (along edge of large pentagon): 13 mm
Edge of edge (along edge of large pentagon): 4 mm

So it's 13 + 4 + 13 = 30 mm, in case you didn't know what I mean, it's kinda hard to describe this. An example would be Chinaminx: x + 0 + x = 2x, because Chinaminx's stars have pointed vertices, so the "edge of corner (along edge of large pentagon)" of a Chinaminx is 0, get it?

Color scheme:

White opposite light pink
Light blue opposite blue
Purple opposite dark purple
Yellow opposite orange
Pink opposite red
Green opposite dark green

Light blue, light purple, yellow, pink and green are "surrounding" white.
The rest are surrounding light pink (duh).

Can someone tell me what Minx this is? I know it's not a Chinaminx for sure because the stars don't have pointed vertices, but I don't know about anything else, heck, I don't even know what the "proper" color scheme of a Megaminx is supposed to be.

Edit: I just discovered this http://tribox.cart.fc2.com/ca5/61/p-r1-s/. Is that it?

It looks like a PVC but with a different color scheme. The Puzl minx ?
And IMHO there's no such thing as a "proper" color scheme for megaminxes.

I think it's that Chinaminx from Tribox, which is not the normal Chinaminx. First solve 5 mins + :D Anyone have any feedback on this Tribox China Minx? Like a review or something?

Bump. I've been through 15 pages of Megaminx search results, that's like 50 threads and a few hundred posts, and I haven't found one single review on the Tribox China Megaminx :( Am I the only one here to have bought this? (Didn't buy it online though.)

I've lubed it and loosened the spring tension and it's turning kinda okay I guess but I don't have another good/bad Minx for comparison so I don't know if it's actually really crappy or quite nice. (Phew that was a long sentence.) I do know that it doesn't lock at all and pops about once every two solves, but that's because I loosened the springs too much I guess, I'll tighten them again later. Cuts corners very well, I think. I don't think it's the PVC Minx sold on cube4you because the color scheme is different.

Erik just got his cubes a couple days ago. Not many people have received their orders let alone people who ordered megaminxes. Give it a few days.

I got a Chinaminx yesterday, did so much work to it, and my Tribox Minx still pwns it hands down.

Both Minxes are 3/4 days old.

Tribox Minx:
  • Adjustable spring tension.
  • Doesn't click into place, which is good imo.
  • Doesn't lock at all, seriously.
  • Fingertrick-able.
  • Very slightly smaller than Chinaminx, not small enough to make much of a difference imo.
  • Stars have blunt vertices, which means edge stickers are larger, which is easier for looking ahead imo.
  • Kinda hard to turn at times because the corner piece is so small, you'd miss it when you're trying to do something like U or U'. (This is the only bad thing about it, but you can't have large corners and edges, good compromise imo.)
  • Pops once in 5 solves or so.
  • Cuts corners very well.

Chinaminx:
  • Can't adjust spring tension.
  • Click-into-place mechanism, I hated it, spent 3 hours sanding off all the "protrusions", now the internals of all my corners are flat, but it still locks because the cubies just somehow catch on to the center pieces and don't let go :(
  • Locks like hell.
  • I just can't do fingertricks on this thing, I wrist all the way.
  • Stars have pointed vertices, annoying small edge stickers, BAD for hunting pieces.
  • Explosive pops when you try to force a locked face to move.
  • I wouldn't know if it cuts corners, it locks way too often for me to even do this.

Guys, get yourselves a Tribox CHN Minx (not the Edison one, I don't know anything about that.) Oh, and the Tribox Minx is cheaper than the Chinaminx. I don't know if Tribox Minx will be more expensive if you buy online though, I got both of mine in local stores.

Can't adjust spring tension, really ? It's very easy on my chinaminx, just remove the center caps with the help of a knife or something similar. And no, it won't destroy them permanently.
With the correct spring tension, the popping problem will probably be solved too.
And (for the Nth time) chinaminxes are bad when new but get better with time.

And, for the nth time too, do not sand chinese megaminx, it's totally useless.
My chinese megaminx is not sanded, and getting good times with it is possible :)
I can do fingertricks on it.
And, since I pop about 1 solve out of 20 at home, and 1 solve out of 3 in competition, I think pops are because of the solver, not because of the megaminx :D

What's with the French fetish (fétiche?) with Chinese megaminxes? ;)

Okay, I'll take your advice and break it in some more. I've already been breaking it in for a few days actually, and yes it is improving, but the other minx still rocks, at the moment.

@TMOY: I don't see any center caps in the first place  I only see the tiles glued to the entire center piece that doesn't seem to have a cap

I don't know if you can see this clearly but my camera isn't that good:

That's what the inside of my minx looks like. The first picture is for you to see the sides of the exposed center piece. The second one is so that you can see the sides of the other center pieces surrounding the exposed one. I can't find a single opening/gap/catch on the center pieces that I'm supposed to pry open. The center piece seems to be made out of one entire solid piece. The only thing that I've tried prying open was the tiles, and I've damaged them pretty badly, and I'm quite convinced that I'm not supposed to pry those open now :p So where exactly is this catch that I can open "with a sewing needle"? :(
