I have a tiled Rubik's that I have left in my car for a couple days. It hasn't been too hot in Michigan to melt anything, but enough to get quite warm in the car while parked. I tried the cube again and it turns AMAZINGLY well. This is the non adjustable tiled cube too. I'm wondering if the heat did something to the plastic or springs causing them to move more easily. Has anyone else tried this, or had a similar experience?

It's possible that depending on what kind of lube you use, it can be oilier/faster in higher temperatures? Like regular grease becomes less solid the higher the temperature is, something like that.
It also might be because the plastic expands a bit in heat as well so there's more leeway for the pieces to move around.

I used Lubix

i seriously thought about starting a thread for this. ya i left a mini aolong in my car and it was way better after it got pretty warm.

This happened with my Zanchi and Fangshi and they were temporarily better but it wore off pretty quickly. Haven't tried it with my weilong yet

If you're using a lubricant, heat will lower the viscosity until it cools down again. Maybe it would be worth experimenting with a low viscosity lube...
